 The Ethiopian Coffee Exporters’ Association (ECEA) is one of the occupational associations that emerged in Ethiopia in 1968. It is the first association in the agro-industrial field to promote Ethiopian coffee in the world market. The majority of the founding members were expatriates who worked for overseas companies registered in Ethiopia. These members worked together with the Government and amongst themselves in resolving issues and finding solutions for emerging problems. more

 The Oromia Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union/OCFCU/ is a small holder coffee growers owned coopertaive union established in june 1, 1999 by 34 cooperatives with 22,503 farmers Todate there are 129 cooperatives with 128,361 house hold and 800,000 families. more

 Sidama Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union: Sidama Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union is well known for its production of garden coffee. Our growing areas have the ideal soil type and climatic conditions (altitude, rainfall and temperature) for the production of an extraordinary coffee. Sidama produces approximately 35,000 tons of high quality Organic Arabica beans per year on 70,000 hectares of land. Sixty percent of our beans are washed, with the remainder sun-dried. more
