Current Issues on general commodities
The Central Statistical Agency (CSA) has been conducting annual agricultural sample surveys to provide the desired agricultural data to the government and other users. The major data items included in the survey are: Area, production and yield of crops; Land Utilization (crop area, grazing land, fallow land, Wood land); Farm management practices (quantity and type of inputs); Livestock (type, age, purpose); Selected livestock products (type and quantity); Selected demographic characteristics of agricultural holders and households.
